A new series on the Gospel of Matthew begins today! For thousands of years, Jesus followers have remembered the season when Jesus entered the world and changed everything. And for hundreds of years, we have called that season Advent. Time has taken its toll on this season and many times we just end up spending more and more money to celebrate a God who became poor. Advent isn’t just something for the ancient Christians; maybe it’s something that we need today.
